The Hazi Ali Dargah is situated on the small Island in southern side of Varli in Mumbai. That is 400 km far away from main road. This is the famous place of Mumbai, situated in the middle of city. This is the beautiful sample of Islamic architecture. There is the grave situated of Sayyed Pir Hazi Ali Shah.
The Hazi Ali dargah was made in the remembrance of rich muslim businessmen "Sayyed Pir Hazi Ali Shah Bhukari" in 1431, Who left all the worldly comfort before going the pilgrimage of Makka. As here thousands of people come here but on every Thursday and Friday almost 40000 people get collected here for prayer. Quwwali is organize on every Friday of here.
The way of reaching this Dargah is mostly depends on tides. As the height of the main road is low and there sea on both sides. So, during a highly tides road become disappear, and the way isonly possible when the tides are slow down.
This white coloured Dargah is spread over the area of 4500 sq km. At the near of Dargah there is 85 feet high Minar is situated. The mazar is covered by red and green clothes inside of this. There area is surrounded by silver rods. There is many pillars of marble in dargah, that is decorated with coloured Glass and the 99 names of Allah has written on this. Here is a prayer rooms of mens and womens are separate.
The followers of Hazi Ali are not only found in India, but spread all over the world. Every year millions of people came here and fill their life with happiness.
